What We Do
When someone is diagnosed with ALS, their whole world is shaken. Receiving a terminal diagnosis is hard, but ALS? It may be the hardest there is. And not just for the person living with ALS, but also for their caregivers and loved ones. Unfortunately, this diagnosis often leads to isolation, as friends and family find it too difficult and begin to distance themselves. That is why we exist.
We WALK IN when others walk away. All it takes is filling out one form to express interest in being paired with a Care Partner.
We WALK TOGETHER when it feels too hard. We'll make sure you get paired with the right Care Partner for you, and they will meet with you regularly in the manner that suits you the best (phone, zoom, text) to listen to you, be a shoulder to cry on, a reminder of hope.
We WALK THROUGH this season of darkness. Each of our Care Partners is well versed in the specifics of ALS, and many of them have been personally affected by the disease. They understand how dark these days can be, and they are there to remind you that you are not alone on this journey.
Why do we do what we do? We believe each person is created with inherent worth, and no one treated people with more worth than Jesus. We want to love people the way Jesus loved them, and this is a tangible way to demonstrate that love
To get started, simply fill out this form and our Care Services Coordinator will reach out to you.
